Armed Raiders Storm Ogbomoso Immigration Office, Make Off with Officers’ Guns

Gunmen attacked the Immigration Office on the Ogbomoso–Ilorin expressway at about 10pm on June 2, 2026. They overpowered officers on duty and carted away several firearms. According to local reports, the raiders struck while the nearby Ayanyan Cattle Market was still bustling. They vanished into the night immediately after the operation. The Oyo State Police Command spokesman has yet to receive an official briefing on the incident. Further updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
